About Salvatore's Old Fashioned Pizzeria

Salvatore's is Rochester's favorite and best pizza, delivering their famous full menu since 1978 when Salvatore "SoccerSam" Fantauzzo opened his first store when he was 17. The Engine 12 firemen next door helped Sam test out his recipes and friends and family were the first employees, inluding his girlfriend. Sam's sweet mom even volunteered to make the dough and sauce. 30 years later, the famous full menu has many of the original menu items to enjoy.

  • Everyone pitched in to help 17 year-old Sam open his pizzeria - the lawyer helped him pro bono, a hardshare shop donated paint, the firemen next door donated his first-ever business cards and menus, and more.

  • The Salvatore Pizza family purchased Donuts Delite in 2009.
